To whom it may concern at CUNY,
I am a senior at Fordham University, where a 99 Percent Club has recently been established.
I am part of the club, and part of the club’s “think tank” committee, in which we are gathering information about income inequality, the negative effects of corporate personhood, market failures, and the privatization of prisons, education, etc. We are also going to be making a site, on which we are going to post articles written by our members on the above issues. Lastly, we are going to be using various types of social media to raise awareness of our cause and gather new members, and will be doing some campaigning on campus.
I was wondering if any of your OccupyCUNY members would be willing to meet with some of Fordham’s 99 Percent Club members, so we could network and perhaps discuss how we can grow the Occupy Movement, especially here in NYC and among students at all of NYC’s colleges.
We admire what you have accomplished so far, and would love the learn from you. Let me know!
